I have bachelor’s degrees in math and sociology from Westminster College, from which I graduated summa cum laude. I enjoy writing and editing and have taught several professional writing courses. I love to teach, coach, and tutor, and my specialties are elementary math, reading, algebra, and homework help. I have helped dozens of athletes succeed in their classes and on the ACT. My passion is ACT and college preparation, and I have been able to increase students’ ACT scores by as many as 10 points! I developed my own ACT study program with an incredible success rate for helping students reach their desired score. In addition to ACT prep, I also help with admission essays and have watched students be accepted to Ivy League schools across the country.

I started Totally Tutoring because I am passionate about learning and education. My goal is to empower as many students as possible with knowledge and confidence. I want to aid parents in alleviating the homework headache and to show my students that learning can be fun. I want each ACT student I work with to learn how to study and to develop a love for learning. My team and I promise to ensure the best possible tutoring experience through patience and celebrating achievements. When I am not tutoring, I am usually chasing my two kids around or running! I have completed a dozen full and half marathons, and I enjoy fitness and sports. I played soccer in high school and still enjoy kicking a ball around. I’m an avid Jazz fan!
