Zane

Hi, I’m Zane. I’m a microbiology student at Brigham Young University. I’m currently in the process of applying to medical school, and I’m interested in ophthalmology or immunology as a potential career path. I’m from Alpine, Utah, and I graduated from Lone Peak High School with a 4.0 cumulative GPA and 31 on the ACT. I was also my school’s Science Sterling Scholar and graduated with AP credit in 5 classes, including literature, calculus, chemistry, and biology. My experience as a TA and volunteer tutor at BYU reflect a proficiency in chemistry, biology, mathematics, and reading. I took up tutoring because I love to teach. Interactive, enjoyable learning activities are my specialty. In my leisure time, I most enjoy traveling. I spent two years in Germany and love speaking the language. I also love to go to the park with my wife and 14 month-old daughter, and one of my favorite pastimes is bowling.
